National Museum of African American Music

The only museum dedicated solely to the African American roots of American music, NMAAM traces gospel, blues, jazz, R&B and hip-hop through more than fifty genres. Interactive stations let you sing in a virtual choir, step into a jazz club or lay down a beat, making it one of downtown’s most hands-on attractions. Give yourself a couple of hours to do it justice.
