Why it matters: launched in 2016, Someone Somewhere is a Certified B Corp social enterprise that partners with more than 270 Indigenous artisans – over 90% of them women – across seven of Mexico poorest states, weaving their traditional handwork into modern apparel, bags and accessories that each carry the maker signature. The Condesa store is the easiest place to see and buy the pieces in person, with backpacks, embroidered jackets and travel goods that make genuinely meaningful souvenirs. Stop in on Av. Michoacan, ask which community made the piece you like, and you will leave knowing exactly whose hands made it.
