St. Charles Avenue Streetcar

A green streetcar on oak-lined St. Charles Avenue in Uptown

Uptown

The olive-green St. Charles line is the oldest continuously operating streetcar in the world, rattling under a canopy of oaks past Garden District mansions, Loyola and Tulane universities and Audubon Park. For the price of a fare it is a scenic tour in itself. Bring exact change or a Le Pass ticket, and grab a window seat facing the mansions.
