Heads up: The Republican Club has closed. This gloriously divey South Philly after-hours haunt on Snyder Avenue was the stuff of late-night legend — equal parts crashed house party and neighbourhood dive — but it is no longer open.
Where to go instead: duck into U-Bahn for underground cocktails, or spend an afternoon on an East Passyunk food tour a few blocks from the old spot.
