Nostalgija is a vintage cafe, bar and live music venue at Krakovski nasip 4, on the Ljubljanica riverbank in the Krakovo neighbourhood, a short walk south of the old town. It has traded since 2016 and functions as a shop as well as a bar: most of the furnishings carry price tags. The interior is built around 1950s and 1960s material, with a coin-operated Wurlitzer jukebox, hairdressing salon chairs used as bar stools, a period Coca-Cola refrigerator, Route 66 petrol station signage and a sofa built from the body of a 1959 Ford. Drinks run to coffee, homemade lemonade, beer, spirits and mrzli caj, a local mix of rum and Cockta, the Yugoslav-era cola still made in Slovenia. Live music is programmed on Friday and Saturday evenings and covers jazz, blues, swing, rock and roll and rockabilly, with occasional open-mic nights; there is no cover charge. Opening runs from mid-morning through the day, later at weekends and finishing earlier on Sundays.
