Chamarel is an isolated town in the South-West and one of the locals' favorite road trip spot. With amazing viewpoints of the coast and the Black River National Park, Chamarel also hosts the sights of the Seven-Colored Earth, dunes of volcanic earth that naturally take several shades, and Chamarel Waterfalls.

It is an authentic sight that also provides great viewpoints of the West coast. Besides, the road trip itself is worth going - enjoyable landscapes! Fees are Rs125 for residents (EUR4/USD5) and Rs200 for non-residents (EUR6/USD8).
Don't plan ahead your road trip to Chamarel and go whenever the weather is clear. You won't enjoy the viewpoints and see the shades if it's cloudy.
