This wide horseshoe of falls on the Trebižat river is Herzegovina's favourite summer escape, roughly forty minutes south of Mostar. Water tumbles over travertine ledges into a broad emerald pool ringed by greenery, and in high summer you can swim.
Come to cool off in the pool, picnic on the banks or just soak up the spray.
Local tip: There's an entry fee, and it's busiest and warmest in midsummer.
