This is Nairobi's city main souvenir market. It has dozens of stalls selling wood carvings, drums, spears, shields, soapstone, flowers, Maasai jewellery and clothing. There are stalls for foodstuffs as well: meat from different animals.

Why you should visit it
Variety, diversity, and uniqueness of African crafts is prominently here. The Nairobi City Market is located between Muindi Mbingu Street and Koinange Street in the heart of the city. It has six gates which are manned on a 24 hour basis by guards employed by the council.
