Known only by true Naples lovers, this walk takes you down many small steps from the district of Vomero to Corso Vittorio Emanuele – the longest street in the city. The tranquillity and scenery are completely unexpected. To be able to move on foot in a city as chaotic as Naples is a pleasure for the body and soul!
The steps of Petraio are very much off the typical tourist trail. This walk will give you the opportunity to appreciate one of the most peaceful and beautiful sides of the city. Plants grow wild among 19th-century buildings, giving you a sense of the city’s urban evolution step after step.
As it's not one of the safest places in the city, you should definitely not do the walk at night. It’s best to do it as a group.
