The oldest jazz bar in North Macedonia, and still the best room in Ohrid for a late drink – a small, dark, low-ceilinged place on the Old Town lakeside with jazz on the stereo or on the stage, cheap drinks and a crowd that is genuinely half local. It is the highest-rated nightlife spot in the city at 4.7 on Google across more than five hundred reviews.
Doors open at nine in the evening and it runs until two in the morning. One reviewer calls it the best jazz club in the Balkan region, which is a large claim for a bar this size, but nobody who has been seems to argue.
Local tip: Nothing happens before ten. Eat first, come late, and expect to stand.
