Why locals love it
Preston Street is home to many good bars and restaurants but is is not a tourist destination. Despite the large "Little Italy" sign Preston Street offers an eclectic mix many other specialty restaurants, english pubs, coffee shops, sushi, Indian, Greek, and of course Italian.

Why you should visit it
If you are near Dows Lake and are looking for Lunch or a night out Preston Street is near by. Walk or drive north from the Dows Lake Pavillion. You will see the Little Italy sign from there. There are restaurants on both sides of the street until you reach Highway 417.
Special tip
At the south end Pub Italia has a huge selection of beers. The Prescott is a local institution which still have a the local Beer Hall ambiance.
