This place is perfect for people watching, and catching a quick lunch break :) All year round, you can find people relaxing on the lawns, having picnics, playing music, drinking coffee, and generally enjoying the location. Once you are done lunch, you can walk along the river past the Oxford boat houses, and through the forest.
Why you should visit it
This place is very relaxing. You can sit with a book, or partake in a tour of Christ Church if you are so inclined. Christ Church meadows is a bit off the beaten track, although as you walk in you will be greeted by lots of tourists. However, most come to see the college and few take the time to sit down, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Go around lunch time to see a good range of locals, or early in the morning before the crowds arrive.
