La Seu, Palmas Gothic cathedral, rises above the seafront on the site of a former mosque, begun in the thirteenth century and completed over hundreds of years. It boasts one of the worlds largest rose windows and interventions by Antoni Gaudi, while a side chapel was reimagined by artist Miquel Barcelo. Ticketed admission gives access to the vast nave, treasury and terraces, and the illuminated building dominates the Palma skyline.
