Le Marché de la Place des Fêtes

19th (Place des Fêtes)

One of Paris’s biggest and most down-to-earth street markets, filling the leafy Place des Fêtes up in the 19th three mornings a week (Tuesday, Friday and Sunday). Around sixty stalls turn the square into a village: greengrocers and cheesemongers, butchers, bakers and florists, plus a global sweep of specialities reflecting the neighbourhood. Going since 1893, it’s a real local scene rather than a tourist stop — come Sunday morning for the fullest buzz.

While you’re in the city, pair it with a Le Marais food walking tour.
