This isn’t your typical supermarket. It specialises in Asian foods – you won’t find anything else. The Tang Frères (Tang Brothers) chain supplies many Asian restaurants in Paris, though it’s also open to the public. The shelves are full of exotic temptations – I love coming here in summer to buy fresh coconuts.
Why you should visit it
This grocery store is definitely unique. You can find everything you need to cook Asian food. The variety is unbelievable. It’s fun to just wander around and browse the selection, though it can be tricky to find specific items as the labels are often written in Asian languages. Don’t be afraid to try out something completely unfamiliar!
Special tip
It gets crowded on Saturdays so it’s better to come here during the week.
