Why locals love it
This is a popular urban hike to great metropolitan views of Phoenix. This trail takes you to the same peak that Echo Canyon does. It's less steep and a big longer than the Echo Canyon trail with some scrambling towards the end near the summit.

Why you should visit it
The trail is well marked and you will have excellent views of Phoenix and the surrounding mountain as you hike. Keep in mind that the last 0.25 miles require some scrambling which makes it fun but also difficult. Just follow the blue markers and yellow reflectors on the rock to stay on the route. Enjoy the view from the top!
Special tip
Parking can be challenging. You will have to park on the west side of Invergordon Road and take a short walk through a neighborhood to the trailhead.
