The Pori's Art Museum, lies on the South Shore of Kokemäki River, the building is apart of the Stone Pori in the city center. Museum of contemporary art was founded in 1981 around the collection of Professor Maire Gullichsen, which presents the latest trends in domestic and international art.

The museum’s collections and archives focus on modernism and more recent art. The museum's own series of exhibitions and research publications deals with art phenomena from modernism to contemporary art. In the museum shop you will also find gifts, cards and accessories according to the exhibition themes, as well as high-quality art supplies.
