Photo: GetYourGuideOpened in 1906, Lello is one of the worlds most beautiful bookshops, famous for its curling crimson staircase, stained-glass ceiling and neo-gothic carved wood, and often linked to the Harry Potter myth. Entry is ticketed and the price is redeemable against a book. It gets extremely busy, so book a timed slot and arrive when it opens. Look up at the ceiling skylight, and keep moving on the staircase as the crowds are constant.
