Located between the alternative quarter of Žižkov and the noble quarter of Vinohrady the square of Jiřího z Poděbrad is one of the most interesting places in Prague. Very popular among expats, the place is rarely visited by tourists.

The central building of the square is the amazing modernist and neo-classicist Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord from 1932, designed by the famous architect Josip Plečnik. The construction of the church is in the form of Noah's Arc and it is topped by the biggest clock in the Czech Republic.
The square is right at the metro station Jiřího z Poděbrad, almost in the city center.
