Why locals love it
Alibi is one of those great indy coffee houses great to get away from the otherwise corporate megaliths of Starbucks and Costa. A little away from the main walkways of Dejvicka make for a more private encounter. It's also not far from the university.
Why you should visit it
They serve decent enough coffee and with huge cups. It's a great place both to get some work done and for chatting with friends over coffee and cigarettes (there is a smoking room). It's best for the atmosphere, full of old furniture, big windows and books. Locally done art, photographs and crafts line the walls.
Special tip
The standard americanos are huge, generous and cheap. There's no food, so only come for drinks.
