Try some traditional Czech 'fast food'

Sisters Bistro

Why locals love it

This little shop serves up modern takes on chlebičky (small open-faced sandwiches). It's popular for its creative versions of the classic snack, all made using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. It's co-owned by the much-loved Czech food writer Hana Michopulu.

Why you should visit it

If you need to refuel after your walk through the Old Town, step away from the golden arches and the dodgy pizza shops. Go here instead and try something local that's cheaper, healthier, and way more delicious.

Special tip

Try the goat's cheese and beetroot puree or, if you feel adventurous, the herring with wasabi. Their elderflower lemonade is always good, too.
