Why locals love it
"My Praguers understand me", said W. A. Mozart who loved Prague and its people. He choose Stavovské divadlo (The Estate Theatre) for the premiere of his new opera, Don Giovanni. When going to this theatre, I immediately feels like back in 18th century. I love this much theatre much more than the National Theatre.
Why you should visit it
If you, at least a bit, like opera, you should definitely go there. There are usually Mozart´s operas on programme with subtitles. The place has a speficic spirit, it is not a big theatre, but because of that, you might feel the special spirit even more.
Special tip
Go up and down during the break to have the different views of the theatre.
