Tucked into the Grandi harbour district, FlyOver Iceland is a flight-simulator ride that sweeps you over the countrys most spectacular scenery without ever leaving the ground. You are lifted on a suspended seat before a vast wraparound screen, with wind, mist and scent piped in as you soar past glaciers, thundering waterfalls and smouldering volcanoes. The whole experience runs around thirty-five minutes including two short pre-shows. It makes a great first stop for newcomers wanting a taste of the landscapes before heading out to see them for real.
