Slippbarinn, inside the Reykjavik Marina hotel down by the old harbour, was one of the bars that kick-started the citys cocktail scene, and it still mixes some of the most creative drinks in town. Big windows look out over the slipway and fishing boats, making it a lovely spot for an afternoon aperitif as much as a late-night one. There is regular live music too.
