Why locals love it
NOASS is a contemporary culture centre that has an unusual location - two river boat platforms on the Daugava River. They are based on AB Dambis - a narrow land strip, one of Riga's most popular places for walking. In NOASS you can visit different art exhibitions and cultural events. Entrance is free of charge.

Why you should visit it
The location is very close to Old Town, you just need to cross the Akmens (Stone) Bridge and turn to the right. They have a small cafe where you can have a cup of coffee or glass of local beer, sit by the riverside and enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and one of the best views of Riga and its famous church spires.
Special tip
NOASS is open: May-October. On Wednesdays they have live music evenings. Nearby attractions: the new National Library, Brūklene bike&coffee shop.
