This is the place to go for a 'special' dinner - not in the fancy manner, though. Stepping into the Petrikeller means stepping into the Middle Ages. The theme is kept throughout the evening, including the setting, the scene, the menu, the waitresses clothes and speech, and the manner of eating: with your bare hands.

This place offers more than a good dinner. It's a unique experience. After your hearty meal, you are invited to play dice – with some good luck, you can leave the restaurant without paying a single thaler. It's a great place for every age, and especially children enjoy the freedom to use their hands for eating.
Don't wear your best clothes. And don't worry about your hands, you get water to wash them afterwards. Better book a table in advance.
