Build in 1989, Lumberjack's Candle Bridge, is the first modern suspension bridges build in Lapland. The two towers hold the bridge up by the pilas, forming a sail-like effect. Two towers resamples the old fashioned was to burn heavy trunks, as a traditionally lumberjack's did back at the day.

The light of the twin towers has been told to signal the lumberjack's the way back home, during their whitewater rafting down stream from the North. Back at the day Rovaniemi was a well known trading post for lumbers, tar and furs. At the Lumberjack's Park that surrounds the river bench area there's Lumberjack's Statue to be found.
Beautiful landmark, surrounded by a park area at the river bench called Lumberjack's Park, lovely to visit year around. Grafitti.
