The Amir Temur Monument is a bronze statue of Timur raised in 1996, standing over a public square with fountains at the head of University Boulevard. The pedestal is engraved with accounts of his military campaigns, and the square around it remains a genuine gathering point for locals, not just a photo stop for tourists.
It marks a natural starting or ending point for a walk down University Boulevard.
