Why you should visit it
Baker Beach is a really gorgeous place to relax, hang out with friends or family and enjoy the Bay scenery. Harbor porpoises can often be seen frolicking on the tides. Moreover, the walk to get there takes you through Presidio Park and the Presidio neighborhood with its beautiful mansions.
Special tip
Be prepared for parking congestion on sunny weekends. If you can, avoid coming by car.
