Galería Bolós is set inside a colonial-style villa on Isabel la Católica, a few steps from the Catedral Primada, and mixes contemporary Dominican and Haitian art with handmade furniture and artisanal gifts rather than sticking to one lane. It reads more like a curated home than a conventional gallery.
It's an easy add-on if you're already walking between the cathedral and Parque Colón.
Local tip: Leave time to browse – the furniture and smaller gift pieces are as much the point as the paintings.
