Kino Bosna, or as it was called in the Former Yugoslavia, 'Cinema 1.maj' is widely popular in Sarajevo. You truly do feel like you are in Sarajevo. It has always has cultural and artistic events from cinema, alongside lots of local gigs being played. You will find locals with lots of beer, merry chatter and a great experience.

Why you should visit it
Travellers should visit this place as it is an untapped gem in Sarajevo. Most tourists wouldn't head here (sometimes difficult to find) and often you will find only locals here (young and old Bosnians alike). Order a Sarajevska (or any local beer), sit down at a table and enjoy something uniquely from the Balkans. You won't regret it!

Get there early on Monday - it is their only day they are open (though sometimes Wed/Thurs).
