Ali Ibn Hamza's shrine gets a fraction of the visitors that Shah Cheragh does, despite mirror mosaics covering practically every wall and the domed ceiling above. The effect is every bit as dazzling, just on a smaller, quieter scale.
Local tip: Chadors are provided for women at the entrance, as at other shrines in the city, and photography is generally allowed here, which is not always the case elsewhere.
