Furnitēka is a lovely little treasure trove of used and antique furniture in the pretty Latvian town of Sigulda, on Dārza iela. For lovers of vintage design and one-off finds, it is a delightful browse — a shop packed with old furniture, interior curios and characterful pieces, each with its own history and patina.
The stock is an ever-changing mix of antique and second-hand furniture and interior objects — chairs, cabinets, lamps, mirrors and decorative odds and ends — sourced and sold with real affection. Even if a wardrobe will not fit in your luggage, it is a charming place to hunt for a smaller vintage keepsake and soak up some Latvian design character on a visit to Sigulda.
