Ferraria Taproom sits on the steep, cobbled Rua Ferraria in Sintra’s old town, pouring a changing selection of craft beers alongside tapas built to share.
It’s a smaller, quieter alternative to the bigger tourist-facing bars closer to the train station, with a cosy interior that fills up fast once word gets round on a weekend evening.
The street itself is one of the more atmospheric in the historic centre, so it doubles as a good stop between sightseeing rather than a destination you’d plan a whole evening around.
Local tip: Rua Ferraria is steep and cobbled — wear proper shoes if you’re walking up from the town centre after dark.
