Locals love to head to Regina Giovanna to have an amazing swim but at the same time be close to the city centre in Sorrento. Regina Giovanna is never too crowded, the sea is amazing and the view is one of the best you can get: Sorrento and the whole peninsula on one side, the island of Capri on the other.

Getting to the beach itself is special: you'll leave the car and have a 15 minutes walk down the narrow alleys and through the vegetation that leave to the rocks. Because Regina Giovanna is not a normal beach: it rises on the remains of the ancient Roman Villa of Pollione and it is formed by huge planar rocks where you can lie your towel.
Have a look at the incredible rocky arc and the little bay that's naturally formed, you'll never forget it!
