The old fishermen's and farmers' quarter on Marjan's lower slopes keeps its low stone houses, stepped alleys and small parish churches.
Wander uphill from Šperun through lanes barely wide enough for two people, passing chapels and courtyards towards the Marjan steps.
Local tip: It is residential, so keep voices low after dark; early evening works best, finishing at Vidilica for the view.
