Why locals love it
Here you can bump into a really cool concert and some quite peculiar characters. Music is mainly techno and electro with occasional infusion of funk, hip-hop or such original gems as poetry readings or live piano and violin set.
Why you should visit it
This small but very atmospheric cafe is definitely one of a kind. Justifying its name (“stirka” means laundry in Russian) here you can do your laundry or have a drink at a bar (which is really not expensive), meet up with friends and enjoy some good music or you can do it all at once. The place's not that obvious, so simply look for the 40˚ sign.
Special tip
My personal choice whenever I get there is a pint of Vasileostrovskoye tyomnoe (dark) with some cracknels. Yum! =)
