Why locals love it
Tis elevator has been in use since 1956. It doesn't work like the elevators you are normally used to. Instead of individual cabins moving up and down this one consists of a string of open cabins that move slowly in a loop without stopping. Passengers can just jump on and off whenever they like.
Special tip
Since the paternoster is still used as the regular elevator in the buildung, you can use it for free.
