Hell Hunt

Hell Hunt is a pub at Pikk 39 in Tallinn's Old Town, generally described as Estonia's first independently owned pub, opened in 1993 shortly after Estonia regained independence. The name is a play on words: hunt means wolf in Estonian, and the whole translates roughly as the gentle wolf. It occupies a two-storey building furnished with a mix of pub tables, armchairs and sofas, with a street-level terrace used in warmer months. The pub has its own beers brewed for it, including pale, dark and wheat styles, an ale and an IPA, alongside a wide range of imported European beers, wines and spirits. The kitchen serves pub food, snacks and sandwiches. It is a short walk from Town Hall Square and the Great Guild Hall within the medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and remains one of the better-reviewed pubs in the city.
