Must Puudel

Must Puudel, the Black Poodle, is a cafe-bar at Muurivahe 20 in Tallinn's Old Town, on a narrow street named for the medieval town wall it runs beside. It combines a daytime cafe serving coffee, cake and light meals with an evening bar trade, and is furnished with a mix of Soviet-era and retro Scandinavian pieces including velvet sofas, assembled rather than styled. Seating spreads across a front room, a quieter back room and a courtyard garden used in warmer months. At weekends the venue programmes DJ sets, which draws an evening crowd alongside the regular cafe clientele. It trades daily, opening in the morning and running into the late evening, with hours varying by season, and accepts card and cash. The Viru Gate bus and tram stops are a few minutes away, from which the pedestrianised core of the Old Town is reached on foot; Town Hall Square is a short walk in the other direction.
