Take a walk though the historic centre: start off from Piata Unirii and go south through all the small streets starting from there. You'll have a chance to soak in all the charm of old Secessionist buildings, tons of bars and cafes. Visit the Bastion and go all the way down to the Bega river, you'll find gems at every corner!

Get a taste of the old citadel and truly see why Timisoara is also called "Little Vienna"!
Special tip
If you end up by the river in summer, stop and have a mint lemonade at one of the bars by the Bega. It's amazing!
