Open your wings and fly through the aviation history at the Finnish Aviation Museum. The two large exhibition halls feature dozens of interesting aircraft from different periods of Finnish civil, amateur and military aviation. The old-time atmosphere can be sensed by visiting the cabin of Convair Metropolitan, was in use 1950s to the 1980s.
Museum also has plenty of other aviation related items that discovers the lives of pilots, passengers and aviation maintenance help. In addition, changing exhibitions, the museum has an archive and the largest aviation library in Finland. There is also a restaurant and a museum shop.
