Tucked behind the elegant townhouses of Nowy Swiat, Pawilony is a warren of small courtyard bars set in what were once humble retail kiosks. By day it is quiet, but come evening the lanes fill with a lively, mixed crowd hopping between tiny, characterful drinking dens. It is one of central Warsaw’s best-loved nightlife spots, informal and buzzing, and a favourite starting point for a night out in the city centre.
