Rock & Roll Hotel used to be a funeral parlor. Now, with the help of some vintage decor and good vibes, it's a proper lounge. Patrons come here for intimate shows from lesser-known indie bands. The crowds are always diverse (in age and style), making this one of the more unpretentious places for a good time in DC.
Rock & Roll Hotel boasts three levels of fun: a basement level performance stage for live music, a DJ dancefloor for bumping and grinding, and a roof deck clad with bar. The also host some off the beaten path nights, like DC Bear Happy Hour. They also have a small menu of bar food to pad those stomachs before a night of drinking and dancing.
Check the schedule for live music and DJ shows to make sure you show up for your favorite vibe.
