Britanski trg (British Square), the so-called Britanac, has always been a well-known spot, some even call it the most Zagreb-like square, full of memories and stories of growing up in this city. The design of this square has never been quite finished, and that's probably why it feels so authentic.
This is the home of the open-air market with the longest tradition around, almost a century long. Enjoy the lively market in the morning, come here for a drink in some of the nearby cafes in the evening, check out what the regional art-scene has to offer in nearby galleries. It's real Zagreb, just 10 minutes walking distance from the main square.
Don't miss the open-air antique fair on Sundays to browse through precious time-frozen items.
