Britanski trg, or British Square, is a leafy Lower Town square best known for its long-running antiques and flea market. Every Sunday morning traders lay out vintage furniture, jewellery, books, records, coins and curiosities, drawing collectors and browsers hunting for a bargain or a piece of old Zagreb. A daily fruit and vegetable market operates here too. Championing second-hand finds and reuse, it is a characterful, sustainable alternative to the shopping streets nearby.
