The Small Square, or Piata Mica, is the enchanting second square of Sibiu’s old town, ringed by colourful arcaded houses many bearing the distinctive eye-shaped roof windows that watch over the city. Home to charming cafes, craft shops and museums, and connected to the Grand Square and the Bridge of Lies, it has a more intimate, picturesque character. With its curving rows of pastel facades and cobbled surface, it is one of the prettiest corners of the city and a delightful place to wander, browse and pause for a coffee amid the medieval beauty.
