On the scenic Turnagain Arm south of Anchorage, the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a sanctuary caring for orphaned and injured animals, where visitors can see brown and black bears, moose, bison, musk oxen, elk and other Alaskan wildlife up close in spacious natural enclosures.
