Marine Drive's sweeping seafront curve is Mumbai's favourite place to breathe. Come evening, half the city seems to gather on its promenade wall to watch the sun drop into the Arabian Sea.
Stretching from Nariman Point to Chowpatty, the free promenade is made for slow walks and sea breezes; its night-time lights earn it the 'Queen's Necklace' nickname.
