Float and scramble down the Storms River gorge on an inflatable tube, through narrow rock passages and deep green pools inside Tsitsikamma National Park.
Wetsuit, kit and guides are provided, with a short forest drive to the put-in; the outing runs about six hours, four to five of them on the water.
Local tip: Storms River is roughly a two-hour drive west of the city, so set off early and pack dry clothes for afterwards.
